Apparently after writing the 7th s, 2nd m, Beethoven was widely regarded as having lost the plot. Many other so called artists just couldn’t hear through the repetition and apparent simplicity of it and so branded him nuts.

It is great to hear comments about John Lennon’s guitar skills. There are always comments about Paul and George’s brilliance with their instruments but with John I mostly hear what a great singer and song writer he was. However, I think they were all brilliant singer, song writers and musicians.

the greatest piece of music i have ever heard. beyond everything Mozart wrote….including marriage of figaro, I’ve never been so moved by a piece of music. I play multiple instruments including piano. I love playing this piece over and over on a synthesizer that is programmed as a full orchestra. It is not a difficult piece to play, even by ear, a good musician can have this memorized in seconds and perform a fare rendition almost immediately. IT’s perfect, simple, to the point, and since one is so inspired by it’s perfection, you can’t help but play beyond your consciousness.
